About Jeremy

Jeremy was born in Nottingham in the mid 1970s.  He grew up in a village called Thurgarton where he did typical village life things like play in the cricket team, do a paper round and fancy Michaela Strachan off of the telly.

As a life long luvvie he first took to the stage when he was about 5 and continued to do so for many years.  Eventually he joined Central Television Workshop, a pool of talented young actors who were affiliated to what was then Central Television and appeared occasionally on Children’s TV.  Programs like ‘Woof’, ‘Phoenix Hall’, ‘Your Mother Wouldn’t Like It’, ‘Boon’ and ‘Peak Practice’ all managed to survive despite his acting performances…..

Alongside a claim to fame that involved him giving advice to Rolf Harris on the set of ‘Cartoon Club’, his last two roles were with Tony Slattery in a show that was great but never got commissioned for a series, and perhaps most bizarrely as the lead male opposite a certain Samantha Morton in a channel 4 film, ‘The Token King’.  Sam has since gone on to become a twice Oscar nominated actress.

At University Jeremy studied to become a teacher and just after he left in 1999 he met Hilary at an engagement party for one of their mutual friends.  They got married in 2003 and now have five children, Jamie, Ollie, Sam, Harry and Archie.

In 2002 Jeremy established ‘Wicked Days Productions’, a fledgling company that aimed to create wedding films that were modern, exciting and just right for the needs of younger couples today.  5 years later the company had won 2 national awards and since then Jeremy has often been asked to lecture at National Conventions on the art and business of wedding film making.

In 2008 the business developed to include Family Films.  In 2010 it shrank by removing Family Films – it was only the start of the bleedin’ global financial crisis, weren’t it.  Folks weren’t being as flash with their cash on ‘expendible’ projects.  Still, we learned loads and had fun.

Alongside film stuff, Jeremy is currently the Deputy Headteacher of a Dorset school.
