I love being a Mum but there are times when sometimes I just wish someone wasn’t calling my name. But now the boys are back at school and it is really quiet at home and I miss these interruptions – the little moments that clearly show that someone is acknowledging me and needing me.  I can see it and there is nothing I can do to stop it.  My boys are growing up quickly and spreading their wings and it’s all good but I don’t hear Mummy and Mum half as much from them now they are off at school and that’s a bit sad.

So I must remember to cherish these moments of interruptions while they last, because my little boys will soon become big boys and before I know it my days will be calmer, quieter, less crazy and i will miss my interruptions.
