We all woke up with the excitement of being in a tent and feeling very snuggly and warm despite the fact that it had rained all night and been really windy! We had a quick sleeping bag war before getting into our clothes and had our breakfast. We then played lots of games led by Tanya – they were great fun!
We then walked off on a loooooooooooooooong walk. When we got about half way we split up and some of us went to the pub while some carried on walking (we carried on). When we had walked for about another ten minutes we saw Louis (Ollie’s friend) covered in mud up to his waist and we then found out that he had jumped down into a muddy, boggy river and them promptly got stuck and had to be rescued and dragged out by Kirsty (Sam’s friends Mum). Louis was covered in mud and then started chasing me, Chris and Ellie(my friends) and trying to get us really dirty.
When our legs started to feel as though they couldn’t carry us anymore we arrived back at the campsite as though it had all been perfectly planned(which of course it wasn’t.) When we got back to our tent we had our lunch and started preparing to go to saltwater baths in Lymington Which is basically a huge swimming pool made purely with sea water and also you are allowed to bring dinghy’s and if you get tired of that there is even an course and a volleyball court to play on so we all felt incredibly excited.

After lunch we drove to the sea baths and bought a ticket, we got changed and then all dived straight in. Me, Jo and Chris went on the assault course before trying to play some volleyball (but failing horribly) after I had been in the pool for about an hour I decided to get out and get back into my clothes. We all felt very cold but when Mummy offered ice cream we all warmed up for some reason. We had our ice cream before we drove back to the tent and played some football and toasted marshmallows on Wayne and Kirsty’s barbeque.
We then did the bedtime conga up to the toilets to clean our teeth and then came back again the same way all together. When we got back we got into our sleeping bags and fell straight asleep.
It was a very tiring and fun day
