When we got back, a bit damp (we had a wrestling match) and smelling of the grass, we found out what we were going to be doing for today. We were going to spend most of the day walking up to a ferry and then travelling on a ferry to Hurst castle where we could have a nerf war.
We got ready to go and started walking to the ferry and got on and then…..Half an hour later……we arrived at Hurst Castle and played a quick game of hide and seek in the huge grass around the castle before going inside and preparing to start the nerf war! We played capture the flag with me, Archie, Ollie and Thomas on the German team and everyone else on the English team, the objective was to get the other teams flag without being shot and run all the way back to your flag and put it next to your flag without being shot. In the first round the English won just about and in the second the Germans won making it winner takes all in the final round. For most of the round it was even with neither team managing to get to the other teams flag without being shot but then me and Ollie ran past everyone and had managed to take the English’s flag and win the game for the Germans. When we finished our family went on a quick tour around the castle before hopping onto the ferry and going back to the tent.
